Return Policy

I want you to get a great fit with your sandals and minimalist sandals sometimes require a little time and effort to get your perfect fit. Try making adjustments to the strap tension and placement to find a good fit for you. If you’re still not getting the right fit, shoot me an email and I’m happy to give you some pointers I’ve picked up over the years of wearing my sandals and working with other folks like you. Spend some time wearing your sandals indoors to determine if they will work for you. 

Non-custom Sandals

Sandals without customization can be returned in new condition within 90 days of receipt

  • If you are not completely satisfied with your sandals you may return them for a refund or replacement minus shipping cost. 

  • Sandals must be in new condition.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable and you will be responsible for return shipping costs.

Custom cut sandals: 

Sandals with customization such as a custom footshape, two different sizes or shapes, added midsole thickness, etc. can be returned within 90 days of receipt.

  • If you are not completely satisfied with your custom cut sandals you may return them for a refund or replacement minus shipping cost and a 25% materials fee. The 25% material fee is based on the full retail price of the sandals.

  • Sandals must be in new condition.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable and you will be responsible for return shipping costs.

  • If all you need is a section of the sandal cut a bit smaller, I’m happy to do this free of charge. You’ll only be responsible for the associated shipping costs.

Warranty

  • We offer a 1-year non-transferrable limited warranty

  • Deliberate Life Designs warrants that our products will be free of defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date that the product left our facility. For any defects covered under this warranty, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace your item, or refund your money up to the full purchase price of the defective item. This warranty only covers the original purchaser of the items; does not cover malfunction due to misuse, abuse, or improper installation or maintenance; does not cover the cost of shipping; does not cover incidental, consequential, or indirect damages; and is limited in value to the original purchase price of the defective item.

Refunds

Orders that have not yet begun production can be canceled for a full refund. Please email me ASAP when you know you might want to cancel your order to have the best chance of catching your order before I begin making it.

Shipping Policy

Processing Time
All of our sandals are handmade and are made to order. Orders typically ship in 7-10 days. During the busy summer season, lead times can get longer. Right now new orders are shipping in 7-12 days. Updated 10/2/23

Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on order total weight and destination.

Shipping Carriers
All orders are shipped via USPS. If you don’t have an address that can receive USPS deliveries, email me at deliberatelifedesigns@gmail.com and I can get you a rate from another carrier.
