The Intuition may look like a road and town sandal with its lightly textured outsole, however, after many years and miles on the trails in our Intuitions, we’ve found them to have almost as much rock protection as the Pursuit and excellent stickiness on rocks (even when wet!). The anti-slip footbeds add durability to the sandal while offering excellent grip in wet conditions. Rain or shine, these sandals will keep your foot planted firmly on the footbed regardless of how technical your run, hike, or pub crawl.
This outsole will form to your feet like no other in our lineup making them super comfortable in no time at all!
Note: The density of each color outsole varies. The black is the densest and therefore the longest wearing, while the off-white, being the softest, will wear out faster but be the quickest to mold to the feet.

When will I get my sandals?
We are a small company, just Adam and Elizabeth working together to build you a quality pair of barefoot sandals that you’ll love. All sandals are made by hand. This fall (2026) Adam is going to be thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail and some of our lead times will change. All Ready-Made sandals will still ship quickly in 3 business days, while the Made-to-Order sandals will need to wait until Adam is back to build - they should ship in late December.
