The Onsight sandal is built on the same platform as the Perception, our thinnest model which therefore offers the most ground feel. It uses the same 5mm Vibram Newflex outsole as our standard Pursuit but excludes the 3mm midsole making it both durable and lightweight enough to approach your climb and then clip to the back of your harness to use for your descent. The Onsight is also ideal for folks who want the most ground-feel in their sandals.

The webbing in this limited edition sandal is repurposed climbing webbing from Black Diamond’s discontinued X4 Camalots. We’ve been working with the folks at BD to give new life to their webbing that doesn’t meet the rigorous rock climbing standards (often due to age). This webbing goes well beyond the durability needs for footwear.

As another special touch, we sourced paracord to make matching toe-thong straps for each BD color.

  1. Print out any of the Standard footshape templates to determine your size. The special edition Insight sandal is only available in the Standard shape.

  2. Pick your webbing color, and place your order. All Insight sandals ship in 3 business days.

The Onsight uses the same Newflex Vibram outsole as our standard Pursuit, but eliminates the midsole, making it thin and incredibly flexible. We are a small company that is committed to making you a quality pair of sandals that you’ll absolutely love! All sandals are made by hand. We’ve already done the gluing and cutting for this limited edition sandal so the production time is cut down significantly and we can ship your Onsight sandals in 3 business days.
