For added protection underfoot when you put in a ton of miles on tough terrain, try the Guide Mode: swapping the 3mm midsole for the 6mm Vibram morflex midsole. We highly recommend selecting the UL footbed for Guide Mode to retain flexibility and reduce weight. You’ll find the option to swap the midsole on the Custom Work page.

The Pursuit is one of our most technical sandals featuring a 10.5mm stack height and an aggressive Vibram Newflex outsole. This sandal is built for long-term abuse on the trails. The anti-slip footbeds offer excellent grip in wet conditions, so rain or shine, these sandals will keep your foot planted firmly on the footbed regardless of how technical the trail.

Ultralight Version: For folks looking to save every ounce, we also offer an ultralight version swapping out the standard Vibram or SVIG footbeds for a UL footbed saving approximately 2 ounces per pair. The thinner footbeds offer additional ground feel, and are noticeably more flexible, but don’t offer quite as much long-term durability as the standard footbeds. This sandal is built with fast and light trail running in mind, but its lower weight lends itself well to being used for Ultralight backpacking or as Ultralight camp shoes.

Note: All Pursuits now have the toe plug recessed in the outsole for added durability. This also allows for the toe plug to be field repairable in the case of a (rare) catastrophic toe plug failure. If you would rather have a clean outsole, you can order it that way by purchasing a “Clean Sole” on our Custom Work product page (only the Pursuit with standard non-UL footbeds).

We are a small company that is committed to making you a quality pair of sandals that you’ll absolutely love! All sandals are custom-made by hand. We make sandals each week and strive to ship all orders within 10 days of receiving your order.
